Greetings,

I thought i would put my 2 cents in here, as I started along my Wiccan Path just after my oldest son was born(1980) .

I studied and practiced and took all three degrees of initiation over the next 6 years, which also included the pregnancys and births of 2 of my other children, My youngest child, born in 88 is a child of the groves and so has always had a touch of the fairy about her..

The only restriction that my HPS placed upon me was that if i felt the least bit tired or out of it, that i forgo a current ritual.

I was fortunate in that I only had to stay home and away from my coven family 2 or 3 times each pregnancy and this was towards the end, only because i was so big with child....

The Goddess blesses each of us in Her own ways, whereas in some ritual situations pregnant women would not be allowed, I had a HPS who was a midwife also, so this I think helped with her letting me participate....

This may not always be the case, but each situation should be seen as seperate....

Just as some women can ride a bike or do arobics up till the time that they deliver this was the case with the training i received...

If the mind and the body are in sync, then there can be great magick in what a pregnat woman can accomplish and add to a working, If they are not, then she should recognize her bodys demands and seek solace in the light that her unborn child may not be as enlightened as herself or that her body just can't...

All of my children have stood in circle since they were 4 years old, an age when they could stand still for a period of time. My younger son and my younger daughter are both very predisposed to Wicca and my Son just took his name this past May...

My youngest daughter talkes to ...well....whatever and whoever, and always has, she also tells you stuff you really dont want to hear. Precognitive...

There may or may not be something to children present in circle and workings, before they start their life on this planet, but that is up to the Mother of these children and who the practice with...

Many Blessings
